Kenmare Kestrels Caught Out by Holyhead Harpies’ Snitch Sneak
The match in Holyhead today started off slow, with only a single goal by the visiting Kenmare Kestrels in the first hour, courtesy of Septimus Mundungus. But the second hour really picked up for the flying Irish. Seven more quaffles through the hoops from the Kestrels, with only a single score from Sybill Coote to answer them, who had to fight a veritable storm of bludgers from Charlie Smith and Wilfred Shacklebolt, the Kestrel’s Beaters. It didn’t look good for the Harpies, but then Cari Bagshot caught sight of the snitch and gave chase, weaving all around the pitch. The Kestrel’s Seeker, Ragnok Boardman just couldn’t keep up, flying into the stands twice in his attempt to catch Cari up. Then, at 2 hours and 5 minutes, Bagshot bagged the snitch, securing the third straight win for the Harpies this season.
