Holyhead Harpies Hammer Appleby Arrows
The final match this week between the Harpies and the Arrows was a decisive buddugoliaeth for the Welsh team who outscored the Arrows for all three hours of the match, and Agatha Dolohov’s catching the snitch was only icing on the cake, and will propel the Harpies a good way to securing a spot in the race for the Quidditch World Cup. Which isn’t to say that the Arrows didn’t put up a good defence. Their Keeper, Fingal “the Fearless” Dranwich, blocked 67% of the Harpies’ shots on the hoops and the Arrow’s Beaters, Bilius Davies and Travers Wood did their part as well, but the Harpies’ Chasers were relentless. Luda Abbott, especially, was the star of the match, scoring half of the Harpies’ goals herself. It was a welcome relief for the Arrows when Ms. Dolohov caught the snitch and ended the game at 2 hours 58 minutes.
