Snitch Snatch Can’t Save Banchory Bangers from Falling to Falmouth Falcons
Today’s match between the Bangers and the Falcons shows that all positions on a Quidditch team are vital to securing the win. Falmouth’s Chasers and Keeper did an exceptional job in keeping the scores high and the hoops secure, while Banchory’s Beaters and Seeker nearly turned the tide for their team. The match was fast as a fizzbit, with lots of scoring from both teams’ Chasers throughout the match. Hour 3 in particular saw 340 points scored between both teams, and when Dudley Helga spotted the snitch and gave chase, Jean Jigger was right there to follow him up. Her Cleansweep broom and lighter build gave her a speed advantage over Dudley’s Thunderbolt, and a lucky double-back from the snitch itself meant Jean closed out the match, earning the Bangers another 150 points, but the Falcon’s Chasers had done their jobs, and the Falcons won by 50 points, a 5 goal margin.
